【台清证券集中保管公司】根据台湾“证券交易法”和《证券集中保管事业管理规则》的有关规定，经“证券管理委员会”核准设立的证券划拨、交割及集中保管机构。董事会为最高执行单位，由董事长召集并担任会议主席;公司设总经理1人，负责管理公司业务，副总经理2人。公司下设业务、存托、股务三部，资讯、秘书二处及人事、财务、稽核三室。证券集中保管制度的建立，是为了减轻投资人、证券商及台湾证券交易所每日买卖交割、点数股票等繁重的工作及股票搬运的风险，并可以防止伪造、变造或瑕疵股票的流通，增强股票交易的安全。为办理集中保管与划拨交割业务，台湾各地的证券商与台湾证券集中保管公司实现了电脑联网。1995年底，开立集中保管户的投资人已达380余万户，集中保管的上市股数已达到肠9亿股，占总上市股数的50 .53%。
