A method to design and implement a real-time condition monitoring system of transportation equipment for hazardous chemicals was proposed in this paper.

Through the establishment of atmospheric turbulence diffusion model,the characteristic of the hazardous chemicals combined with the basic environment information such as the atmosphere and terrain conditions,this paper calculated the security distance in the condition of hazardous chemicals leakage,which ensured the security for evacuation and monitor stationing.
