补充资料：海南花场湾红树林自然保护区
海南花场湾红树林地方级自然保护区位于海南岛北部澄迈县境内，其范围包括(1)以下四点连续内区域：109°59′10″e、19°54′30″n；109°59′20″e、19°54′40″n：109°59′30″e、19°54′40″n；109°59′35″e、19°54′20″n。(2)花场湾周围自然生长分布的所有红树林。面积共约1.5平方公里，1995年12月由澄迈县人民政府批准建立，其保护对象是红树林生态系统。
花场湾三面环青山，一面敞开向大海，岸线长达50多公里，是多条溪流的出海口，其滩广、水浅、波浪小、水质好，基本无污染，适于红树林种苗着床、繁殖、生长，以红树林为核心形成了典型的海洋生态系统，有多种红树、半红树和红树伴生植物，丰富的海水水生生物，是水生种苗和多种鸟类的天然栖息地，也是抵御风暴潮最有效的天然屏障。
保护区的建立及时制止了对红树林的人为破坏，目前区内利用花场湾得天独厚的条件开展生态养殖，寻找保护与开发共同发展的最佳途径。
保护区的主管部门是澄迈县海洋行政主管部门，没有设立专门的管理机构，其日常管理由澄迈县海洋行政理部门负责。
