英国联机情报检索和文献编目系统。由不列颠图书馆创办，1977年 4月正式运行。该系统80年代末拥有下列数库：《英国国家书目》机读版、美国国会图书馆机读目录、伦敦大学目录、英国视听资料目录、英国教育索引、会议录索引、不列颠图书馆印本部近期目录、英国大学影片与视频理事会生产的视听资料数据库等等。该系统提供的服务项目主要有：①提供文献目录磁带，包括完整的《英国国家书目》和经过格式转换的美国国会图书馆机读目录记录 ；② 根据用户要求选辑书目记录；③提供计算机输出缩微片目录即COM目录,其记录取自英国国家图书馆数据库 ,根据用户要求选辑；④检索服务，为用户查找任何学科主题的资料，用户可通过该系统检索美国国立医学图书馆的医学文献数据库；⑤英国和爱尔兰两国的用户可存取和使用联机图书馆中心(OCLC)的联机联合目录(加注馆藏代号)；⑥提供馆际互借和联机合作编目服务。
