| 功率放大器 power amplifier 以增强信号直流、连续波或脉冲波功率为主要目的的放大电路。常作为多级放大器的末级，向负载提供所需功率。这种负载可以是扬声器、电动机、电热器、发送天线等。功率放大器的重要指标是功率增益、失真度和效率。效率是指放大器的有用输出信号功率与所消耗的直流电源功率之比。它直接反映器件热损耗的大小，因而是表征放大器最大输出功率和尺寸的限制因素。现代功率放大器所用的有源器件主要是晶体管（双极型晶体管或场效应晶体管），少数场合下(如高频或微波大功率发射机的末级)也用真空管。前者的最大输出功率在较低频段已能达到数十千瓦，后者可达兆瓦级。常用的功率放大器多属中、小功率范围，使用晶体管作有源器件时效率较高、成本低、可靠性好。集成功率放大电路的最大输出功率已达数百瓦。 |
