瑞典诗人。出生在韦纳斯堡。早年当过店员，服过兵役。1907年在《赫尔辛堡邮报》工作。他自编自唱,曾在国内和一些欧洲国家巡回演出。生前发表 3部作品：诗集《献给富蕾妲的书》(1922)、《危机和花环》(1926)，长篇小说《四人乐队的垮台》(1924)。身后遗诗约3,000 首。《献给富蕾妲的书》笔调幽默风趣，经过作者的演唱，很快就为人们所熟悉。《四人乐队的垮台》反映了贪污腐化、尔虞我诈的生活，隐藏着作者的苦闷情绪。诗集《危机和花环》成为20年代瑞典的一部佳作，对后世的许多诗人有很大影响。
