描述MezzettiopsisRidl.蚁花属，番荔枝科，只有蚁花M.creaghiiRidl.1种，分布于印度尼西亚和我国的海南。乔木；叶革质；花小，为腋生的复总状花序；萼片3；花瓣6，2列，有透明腺点，外轮的较小，与萼片相似，内轮的厚，狭窄，上部外卷，基部无爪而内弯成穹窿状并覆盖着雌雄蕊；雄蕊多数，外向，药隔顶端有尖头；心皮多数，分离，有胚珠1－3颗。
