Mineralogical characteristics and the coloring mechanism of uvarovite from eastern Tibet,China;

There are four northwest-southeast extending Early-Middle Triassic strata belts in eastern Tibet,the Pushuiqiao-Walasi Formations belt,Malasongduo-Jiazhila Formations belt,Xiayacun Formation belt and Zhuka Group belt,which are exposed westwards roughly in parallel.

The spectrum characteristics of uvarovite from the eastern Tibet, China, are investigated systematically using the EDS, XRD, TEM, UVVI, IR and LRM.
