描述CeropegiaL.吊灯花属，萝藦科，约170种，分布于非洲、亚洲和大洋洲，我国约14种，大部产西南部。直立或攀援状亚灌木；茎近肉质；叶对生，稀缺；花排成腋生的聚伞花序；萼小，有腺体；花冠管状，基部常膨大，裂片分离，直立或外弯，顶端经常粘合；副花冠着生于雄蕊柱上，2层，钟状或辐状，5、10或15裂，裂片比花药略长，舌状；花药顶端无膜片；花粉块每室1个，直立，圆形，其内角具透明的膜边；柱头扁平；蓇葖果披针形；种子顶端有种毛。
