| 天象仪 planetariam projector 一种用于演示多种天文现象的天文普及教育仪器。又称假天仪。1923年，德国蔡斯光学仪器厂制造出第一台天象仪，被广泛推广使用。天象仪的基本原理是采用恒星放映器把星空投影到半球型的人造天穹上形成“人造星空”，再通过配有精密齿轮转动系统的日月行星放映器把日、月、行星投影到人造星空中去，使日、月、行星在人造星空中作模拟运动，再现天体东升西落、夜空星移斗转等天文景观。如果再配有一系列附属仪器，还可以表现各种各样的天象，甚至可以呈现上下数千年内北极星位置的变化和星空的移动变换。中国的北京天文馆内安装有中国自行设计制造的天象仪，可以放映中西对照的星名、星座和一年二十四节气等等景观。
