形态特征:桔梗科风铃草属多年生草本植物。茎直立，高20-85厘米，不分枝。基生叶具长柄，长卵形至心状卵形;茎生叶下部的具长柄，上部的无柄，长卵形、椭圆形至卵状披针形，长4-13厘米，宽1.5-3.5厘米，边缘均具尖锯齿。7-8月开花，花数朵集成头状花序，生于茎上部叶腋间，无总梗，在茎顶端由于节间缩短，多个头状花序集成复头状花序;花萼裂片钻形;花冠蓝色、蓝紫色或紫色，管状钟形，长1.5-2.5厘米，5裂，分裂至中部。
生境分布 生于海拔1300-260O米的山谷草地、草原、亚高山草甸。分布于新疆天山及以北地区。欧洲经中亚至俄罗斯西伯利亚也有。
