| 塔什库尔干塔吉克自治县 位于中国新疆维吾尔自治区西南缘。西靠帕米尔高原，南依喀喇昆仑山脉，与塔吉克斯坦、阿富汗、巴基斯坦等国交界，为边境县。面积5.24万平方千米。1990年人口2.5万。民族有塔吉克、柯尔克孜、维吾尔、汉等。古为蒲犁、依耐、乌秺国地 。清光绪二十八年（1902）置蒲犁分防厅，民国二年（1913）设立蒲犁县 ，1954年成立塔什库尔干塔吉克自治县。“塔什库尔干”系塔吉克语，意为石头城堡。境内地势险要，群山环抱。东南有世界第二高峰乔戈里峰，海拔8611米，北有冰山之父慕士塔格峰，海拔7565米。山前有叶尔羌、塔什库尔干等河。为温带高原气候，冬季寒冷，夏季温凉，年均温4℃。年均降水量100毫米。属牧业区，畜产以牛、山羊、牦牛、马、驴、骆驼为主。野生动物资源有犏牛、羚羊 、雪豹、雪鸡、帕米尔盘羊等。农作物有小麦、青稞、豌豆、胡麻等。工业有水电、缝纫、农机修造等。公路通喀什市。境内有公主堡、石头城堡等古迹名胜。 |
