This paper investigates the effect of the zero-current phase advance on the control of beam halo-chaos in high intensity linacs by applying the PIC simulation procedure and introducing delay feedback controller.

In this paper, based on the summary of controlling chaos, reviewing the formative mechanism of beam halo, dynamics equations and their properties and nonlinear controlling of beam halo, we study the effect of the changes of zero-current phase advance and tune depression,the transverse movement of particles, and a new nonlinear adaptive controlling method has been proposed in this paper.
本文在综述混沌控制和回顾束晕-混沌的形成机制、动力学方程及其特性以及混沌控制方法运用到束晕-混沌控制的基础上,研究了强流加速器中调谐衰减因子和真空相移的改变对束晕-混沌控制的影响及束晕-混沌控制对粒子横向运动的影响,并提出了一种新的控制方法——自适应控制方法实现了对束晕-混沌的较好控制。
