The pharmacological activity of Mycena dendrobii Fan et Guo, a new species of endophytic fungus was studied.

| 石斛 Dendrobium nobile；stem of noble dendrobium 兰科石斛属的一种。附生植物，多生于树上或岩壁上。茎肥厚，成簇，圆柱形，上部稍扁，具节，节上生叶。叶扁平，近革质，花期有叶或无叶。总状花序具1～4朵花；点垂，白色带淡紫色，由3枚萼片、2枚花瓣和1枚特化的唇瓣组石斛成；唇瓣宽卵状矩圆形，不分裂，两面被毛；雄蕊与花柱合生而成合蕊柱，合蕊柱顶端有一个花药，具萼囊；花粉粘合而成4个蜡质团块。石斛茎可加工成中药材“石斛”，含有石斛碱等多种生物碱，有滋阴养胃、清热生津和强壮的功效。石斛属约有1400种，主要产亚洲热带至大洋洲，其中约60种分布于中国南部，石斛便是较常见的种类之一。
