描述AnadendronSchott上树南星属，天南星科，9种，分布于印度至马来西亚，我国有上树南星A.montana（BI.）Schott等2种，产云南及广东。攀援灌木，以小根攀登于树上；叶2列，全缘（国产种）或羽状分裂，柄顶曲膝状；内穗花序具柄，长柱形；佛焰苞卵状，脱落；花两性，紧挤；花被环状、杯状（国产种）或缺；雄蕊4，花丝极短，扁平；子房倒圆锥状，1室，有基生的胚珠1颗；浆果小，散生。
