The paper deals with the mechanism of karst collapse in karst area covered by impermeable cap pings in a new train of thought and presents a more objective interpretation of the karst collapse based on “the effect of underground erosion and flowing of filling material in karst cavities pressure difference fieldlosing of support and increasing of load in cappings”.
