描述LindelofiaLehm.长柱琉璃草属，紫草科，约15种，分布于亚洲和北非，我国有长柱琉璃草L.stylosa（Karel.etKiril.）Brand1种，产西藏或新疆及甘肃西北部。多年生草本；叶基生，具长柄；花组成腋生或顶生的卷伞花序；萼分裂至基部；花冠圆筒状，5裂，裂片阔卵形而短于花冠管或长椭圆形而与冠管等长；雄蕊5，着生于花冠喉部附属物之下，花药与花丝近等长，基部箭头形；花柱伸出花冠外；小坚果有瘤状突起和短锚状刺。
