As the throughput volume repidly grows rapidly in the Ningbo-Zhoushan port,the Xiashimen channel is faced with growing pressure in terms of its navigation capacity.

Along with the Ningbo-Zhoushan port volume of goods handled rapid growth,the Xiashimen channel will be open to navigation ability to face the more and more tremendous pressure.

Recently, because of the fast development of the economy of the two city, the port construction develops rapidly, which brings great pressure to the Xiashimen channel.
