这是一种调节造血和白细胞功能所必需的清蛋白、可刺激粒细胞和巨噬细胞等白细胞的增殖、分化和活化作用、从而增强造血功能，还能增强中性粒细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞及单核细胞的多种功能，促使效应细胞吞噬和消灭癌细胞等免疫活动增强。适用于治疗和预防化学疗法所引起的白细胞减少症及骨髓功能衰竭病人的白细胞减少。对化疗病人应在化疗停止24小时后开始使用。剂量每日5～10μg/kg，持续7～10天，此后至少间隔48小时再进行下一疗程化疗，骨髓增生异常综合征(MDS)及再生障碍性贫血的应用剂量：每日3μg/kg，每日1次，然后根据白细胞增多效应再调节剂量，维持在所期望白细胞计数水平。用于骨髓移植的剂量：每日5～10μg/kg，静注，每日1次，持续致中性粒细胞计数＞1000/μl达3天以上。此药不良反应最常见为发热，可用扑热息痛缓解，其他较少见的反应有低血压、恶心、水肿、胸痛、骨痛、腹泻、以及过敏反应等。
