For a multi-rate sample system with different output sampling and input updating described by state-space model,a multi-rate single predictive control algorithm based on single predictive method is proposed,and the closed-loop system properties are analyzed.

The first part studies the design methods of predictive controllers of multi-rate sampled systems, consisting of dual-rate sampled system, non-uniformly sampled system and multi-rate sampled system with uncertainty; the second part studies the characteristic of multi-rate sampled predictive control systems.
