This delicious and smart poem,which was written by Chen Dawei,a famous master of abacus reck oning in Ming dynasty,was concerned with a kind of problems of Wu Bu Zhi Zong(Calculating thesum of a heap of things),Which is the famous Chinese Remainder Theory.
中国明朝珠算大师程大位在《算法统宗》里，就一类名曰“物不知总”的古算问题──“孙子问题”，用诗诀形式对其解法作了描绘：三人同行七十稀五树梅花廿一枝七子团圆正半月除百令五便得知《算法统宗》（１５９２）卷五从比较辨析的角度，对上述解诗诀作了探究，以阐释程大位对“物不知总”术的贡献。
