| 刘若愚（1926～1986） 华裔美国中国文学研究家。原籍北京，入英籍后不久转入美籍。1948年毕业于辅仁大学，1952年获英国布里斯托尔大学硕士学位。先后在伦敦、香港、夏威夷、匹兹堡、芝加哥、斯坦福等地大学教中文或英文。1967年任斯坦福大学中国文学教授。主要研究中国古典诗歌、诗论和文论，以及中西比较文学、比较诗学。著有《中国诗艺》、《中华游侠》、《李商隐诗歌》、《北宋主要词人》、《中国文学理论》、《中国文学艺术基础》、《跨语种的批评家》。刘氏具有深厚的文学功底和理论素养，其著述视野宽阔、立论精当。 |
