| 《现代》 中国现代文学期刊。月刊。1932年5月创刊于上海，现代书局发行。前两卷由施蛰存编辑，第3卷起由施蛰存、杜衡合编。6卷1期出版后，由汪馥泉接编。出至6卷4期，因现代书局关闭而停刊。共出版34期。面对斗争激烈的文坛，刊物曾经采取比较超脱的态度。《创刊宣言》说：“本志并不预备造成任何一种文学上的思潮、主义和党派”，稿件取舍“只依照编者个人主观为标准，至于这个标准，当然是属于文学作品的本身价值方面的”。杂志的作者队伍广泛，曾发表各种倾向作家的作品。如鲁迅的《为了忘却的记念》，茅盾的《春蚕》，郭沫若的《离沪之前》，洪深的《香稻米》，叶紫的《向导》，张天翼的《洋泾浜奇侠》，郁达夫的《迟桂花》，彭家煌的《喜讯》，欧阳予倩的《同住的三家人》，沙汀的《土饼》，艾芜的《南国之夜》 ，杜衡的《人与女人》等。在一二八淞沪抗日战争后上海出版界一度比较沉寂萧条的情况下，《现代》杂志在文学界产生过较大的影响。刊物还曾以显著地位发表过一批具有现代派特色或倾向的作品 。小说如刘呐鸥的《赤道下》 ，穆时英的《上海的狐步舞》、《公墓》、《夜总会里的五个人》，施蛰存的《四喜子夜生意》、《鸥》。诗歌不仅刊出戴望舒、李金发等人的现代派诗作，还有施蛰存的《意象抒情诗》等。
