中国共产党在中国人民解放军中曾经设立过的负责处理党的日常事务的工作机关。1930年底开始在师以上政治部设立。抗日战争时期设置到旅。解放战争时期随着军队党委制的恢复而撤销。各级党务委员会由各级党员代表大会选举产生，在特殊情况下，由上级政治部指定；一般由正式委员5～11人、候补委员2～3人组成;书记通常由政治部主任兼任;委员任期一年,也可连任。它在上级政治机关、党务委员会指导下，通过本级政治机关开展工作。其主要职责是：保障党员的权利，监督党员履行义务,审批接收党员,处理党员破坏党章、违反党纪的问题。党务委员会在军队党委制中断的情况下，对于加强军队中的党组织建设、维护党的纪律起过一定作用。
