美国大都会艺术博物馆
大都会艺术博物馆位于美国纽约市5号大道上的82号大街。它是个巨大的宝库，占有四个街区，包括的展品在3，000，000件之上。要想真正参观出名堂来，大概要花费好几个半天。所以，每次参观最好先拟订一个计划，再步入庄严的大厅。
博物馆展出自古代文明至当代的艺术作品，其中有成千上百件世界文明的杰作。博物馆不仅展出绘画和雕刻，还展出花毯、乐器、服装以及装饰品。五大展厅分别是：欧洲绘画、美国绘画、原始艺术、中世纪绘画和埃及古董。在四个新造的侧厅之中，有一侧厅用于原始艺术展览，称作迈克尔·c·洛克菲勒厅。新式武器与军事展览厅也已于1991年底重新开放。
博物馆里还有很多花园庭院，有玻璃院顶从中高高耸起，在里面休息片刻会令人很惬意。当然，还可以在博物馆商店里买写有意义的纪念品。
