补充资料：人民英雄纪念碑
| 人民英雄纪念碑 位于中国北京天安门广场中心。1952年动工兴建，1958年5月1日揭幕。碑通高 37.94 米，由两层碑座、大小两层须弥座、浮山花岗石碑身及庑殿顶形碑顶组成。碑身北面镌刻有毛泽东题词“人民英雄永垂不朽”，南面为周恩来题写的碑文。下层大须弥座四周镶嵌着十块汉白玉浮雕，分别以虎门销烟、金田起义、武昌起义、五四运动、五卅运动、南昌起义 、抗日战争和横渡长江等为主题 ，浮雕高 2 米 ，总长40.68米。整座纪念碑用约1.7万块花岗石和汉白玉砌成。
