现代教育技术中心是学校的一个直属部门。现有正式职工20人，其中副高职称4人，中级职称9人，具有硕士学位8人，硕士导师3人，合同制工作人员33人，其中70％为本科生。承担着学校多媒体课件制作、摄影摄像、专题片制作、多媒体教学环境的设计与建设、多媒体教学设备的维护与管理、教师的教育技术培训、教育技术硕士点的教学与建设等多项工作。
几年来，中心研究开发了同声传译系统、视频展示台、教室设备控制系统、多媒体网络课件创作模板等项目，并获得多项校级、省级奖项。先后合作完成了30多部精品课程的课件，其中多门被评为国家级精品课程。
