清水关沿岸，曾是古代先哲前贤涉足的地方，胜迹神秘迷人。 清水关在战乱频仍的古代，是关津要隘，历
代不时有驻军把守，明代南侧建有会峰寨，北侧建有牛尾寨。清水关古渡，曾是黄河上游商家货运、交易的重
要村镇，也是秦晋两岸经济、文化交流主要场所，随着陆地交通条件的改善，日趋衰落，相传旧时此地为官者，
办事公道、爱戴百姓，被老百姓称为“清水衙门”。一九三六年五月初，毛泽东、彭德怀率领红军东征部队从
此渡河回师陕北。
