Through using the method of questionnaire and expert interview,this paper makes analysis on related factors influencing sport population and non-sport population and summarizes the macro factors such as academic background,gender,age,occupation and income,and micro factors such as demand motivation,consumption method,exercise style and sport venue.

With the methods of documentary data,investigation,and the sameness and difference counter-analysis,the similarities and differences between sport population and non-sport population s factors of affecting the formation of physical exercise habits are researched.

The result shows: the young are the main objects to develop our sports population; the age distribution of non-sports population and people at different age who do not join sports activities have some rule; the restriction factors for sports activators are different; the would-be activators and problems will-be-solved at different age bear differential; citizens sports awareness is indifferent.

The reasons that the group in non-sports population among the intellect in jilin Province who have the favourable or geueral attitude towards the participation into physical training are investigated and research by using documentary materials,questionaires,mathe matical statistics and any other methads.
