Now many higher vocational colleges have all offered the art designing major one after another, but the education model of ordinary art institutes and colleges cannot be used in the artistic elementary education of higher vocational education because higher vocational education has its own characteristic.

This thesis probes into how basic art education,as basic education of component,meets the need of modern social personnel training,and how it can accord with the demand of talent quality training in modern society,at the angle of training talents with "creating consciousness","initiative spirit" and "practising ability".

At present, though the contemporary art has been diversified, the fundamental art education still neglects the teaching of "modern art" to some different degrees.
