| 黄道坐标系 ecliptic coordinate system 一种天球坐标系。地球公转的平均轨道面称为黄道面，它与天球相交而成的大圆称为黄道。黄道面是黄道坐标系的基本平面。黄道的几何极称为黄极，与北天极邻近的黄极即北黄极是黄道坐标系的极。经过黄极的任何大圆称为黄经圈；与黄道平行的小圆称为黄纬圈。春分点（见分至点）取为黄道坐标系的主点。从春分点起沿黄道逆时针方向量到天球上一点的黄经圈与黄道交点的弧长为经向坐标，称为黄经。黄经从0°到360°计量。从黄道起沿过该点的黄经圈量度至该点的大圆弧长为纬向坐标称为黄纬。黄纬从0°到±90°计量，黄道以北为正，黄道以南为负。天体的黄道坐标不因周日视运动或不同观测地点而改变。黄道坐标常用于研究太阳系内各种天体的运动。
