This paper points out some mistakes about the Tongdu phenomenon(the phenomenon that the word borrows meaning from its homophonic word) of Dunhuang Shehui Jingji Wenxian Zhenji Shilu which corrects and explains the Dunhuang documents being collected.

It is probably affected by the story named "The Debate between Confucius and Xiang Tuo" in the varied Dunhuang writings,which is a say-sing literary form created by the Buddhists in order to spread their religious doctrines,and the result of the cultural interchange between the Zhuang ethnic groups and the Hans.
《莫一大王》型传说中"竹生甲兵"的母题与古代文献中记载的《夜郎侯出生》的传说不属于同一叙事类型,很有可能是接受了敦煌变文《孔子项讬相问书》的影响生成的,是壮、汉文化交流的结果。
补充资料:敦煌须达那太子本生图壁画
敦煌须达那太子本生图壁画  莫高窟428窟,是北周石窟中最为突出者。壁画内容有不少在莫高窟是最早出现的,如东壁的《须达那太子本生图》。故事描写一个国王有一只六牙白象,力大善战,常胜敌国。敌国国王知道这个国王的太子须达那乐善好施,便派婆罗门找他求象,须达那果然把象施给他们,大臣们大为震惊,报告国王。国王便把他和妻子一起驱逐出国。须达那沿路仍不断施舍,马车、衣服、儿女,还要舍掉妻子与自己。故事以孩子被卖为奴时,为其祖父发现,才把他们一起接了回家而结束。壁画采用连续画形式,而又有意突出其中某一情节。壁画中人物形象丰腴,铁线描挺劲有力,色彩趋于富丽,图案色彩也更为丰富。
