[阿拉伯投资公司]成立于1974年7月，1975年开始营业。阿拉伯投资公司设在沙特阿拉伯首都利雅得，现有成员国为:埃及、摩洛哥、苏丹、突尼斯、阿布扎比、巴林、伊拉克、约旦、科威特、卡塔尔、沙特阿拉伯和叙利亚。成立阿拉伯投资公司的目的是为了通过执行各项农业、工业、商业和服务方面的计划，来促进阿拉伯资本投放到各成员国的经济发展上去。该公司的组织机构分为大会和董事会，董事任期3年。公司核定资本为2.55亿美元，认缴资本已达2闷习石亿美元。
