摘 要：在分析并联机床发展现状与设计环境所面临问题的基础上，结合虚拟制造技术，提出并联机床虚拟产品设计系统，分析了其工程应用价值，并初步构建了系统的框架结构。该系统框架包括机构概念设计与运动学设计、整机组合设计与动力学设计、作业过程仿真与作业性能分析三个平台，将为并联机床的设计者、研究者和用户提供良好的数字化集成环境。 关键词：并联机床；虚拟轴机床；虚拟设计；虚拟制造
0 引言
并联机床（Parallel Machine Tool,PMT）又称并联运动学机器（Parallel Kinematics Machines，PKMs）或虚（拟）轴机床（virtual axis machine tool），是基于空间并联机构的新型数控加工设备。90年代初，美国等工业发达国家先后推出了多种并联机床商业化样机，引起了世界制造业的轰动，被誉为“机床结构的重大革命”、“21世纪的新一代数控加工设备”\[1,2\] 。 由于PMT推出时间较短，在并联机床设计方法、设计理论、设计环境、研究手段、用户认同及相关支持等方面存在许多问题，制约着并联机床的研究、设计和开发，无法适应制造业的迅猛发展和并联机床产业化要求。针对设计环境方面存在的问题，结合虚拟制造技术，本文提出并联机床虚拟产品设计系统，并初步给出系统的总体设计思想和基本结构。 1 并联机床设计技术的研究和发展 11 并联机床的多样化结构 从并联机构的驱动方式上，可将并联机床分为内副驱动、外副驱动及内外副混合驱动三大类；根据并联机床机构的支链配置，可将并联机床分为纯并联型、串并联型、并串联型三种；根据末端执行器运动自由度的数目还可分为6自由度、5自由度、4自由度和3自由度并联机床等\[3\]。 以Stewart平台为基本构型的各类并联机床，包括美国Giddings & Lewis公司的VARIAX数控机床\[4\]、英国Geodetic公司的Hexapods加工中心\[1,5\]、清华大学VAMT1Y型虚拟轴机床原型样机及美国Ingersoll公司、俄罗斯Lapic joint-stock公司并联机床样机等均属于内副驱动类；而日本丰田公司的丰田工机\[6\]，瑞士苏黎世联邦工业大学的六滑块机床，韩国SENA TE公司的ECLIPSE等则属于外副驱动类。标准的Stewart平台即为纯并联结构，而采用2自由度主轴头的Geodetic机床，即为典型的混联结构\[1,5\]。不同自由度的并联机床也均有一些样机或产品问世。
