形态特征:桑寄生科钝果寄生属灌木植物,高0.5-1米。叶互生,有时近对生或数枚簇生于短枝上,革质,卵形、长椭圆形或披针形,长3-5厘米,宽1.5-2厘米,全缘;叶柄长2-4毫米。2-7月开花,伞形花序1-2个腋生或生于小枝已落叶的腋部,具2-4朵花,总花梗长1-2毫米或几无;花梗长4-6毫米;花红色,花冠长2-3厘米,管状,稍弯,顶部椭圆形,裂片4枚,披针形,反折。
生境分布:寄生于海拔(1500-)1800-3500米的高原或山地阔叶林或针、阔叶混交林中的桦树、柳树、栎树、杜鹃等树上。
用途:全株入药,治孕妇腰痛、安胎等。
