以桅杆为机身的动臂旋转起重机。 由桅杆、 动臂、支撑装置和起升、变幅、回转机构组成。①桅杆竖直架设，在回转机构驱动下能绕本身轴线旋转。桅杆虽有支撑装置，但很难严格保持直立，故回转机构采用钢丝绳传动，即在桅杆底部装上转盘，外绕钢丝绳，用可逆转的卷扬机来回牵引，使桅杆转动。②动臂与桅杆下部铰接,随桅杆一起转动,并在变幅滑轮组作用下可俯仰变幅。③支撑装置用来把桅杆支撑在竖直位置。④起重、变幅、回转卷扬机都装在起重机外部机房内。
