| 珠算 中国以算盘为工具进行数字计算的一种方法。珠算一词，最早见于汉代徐岳撰的《数术记遗》。至明代，在商业发展需要条件下，珠算术普遍得到推广，逐渐取代了筹算。现存最早载有算盘图的书是明洪武四年（1371）的《魁本对相四言杂字》刻本。现存最早的珠算书是闽建（福建建瓯县）徐心鲁订正的《盘珠算法》万历元年（1573）。流行最广，在历史上起作用最大的珠算书则是明程大位编的《直指算法统宗》。 珠算四则运算 ，皆用一套口诀指导拨珠完成。加减法，最早见于景泰元年（1450）吴敬《九章算法比类大全》。乘法所用的“九九”口诀，起源甚早，春秋战国时已在筹算中应用。元代大德三年（1299）朱世杰的《算学启蒙》（卷上）载有九归口诀36句，和现今通行的口诀已大致相同。 中国珠算，从明代以来，极为盛行，先后传到日本、朝鲜、东南亚各国，近年在美洲也渐流行。由于算盘不但是一种极简便的计算工具，而且具有独特的教育职能，所以到现在仍盛行不衰。 |
