The distribution of gravity potentialfields, show s that in April～May, three anticycloniccirculations, a cyclonic circulation and a flow from NEto SW existed in theupperlayerwatersofthe South China Sea.
从重力势场的分析可知,4～5 月间南海上层水中存在三个反气旋环流、一个气旋环流(内含几个分离的闭合环流) 和一支位于加里曼丹岛和巴拉望岛西北外海的东北—西南向流;6～7 月环流形态发生了较大的变化。
