Focusing on technology digestion,assimilation,handling and maintenance for a imported equipment, incorporated with practice in actual work based on analysis and understanding of its electric control system.

It is of current significance to evaluate the technical and economic profit of the imported equipment.

Some experiences of the mill retrofit including equipment import,non standard sets complement and commissioning test run in Guangzhou Paper Mill recent years are summarized in this paper.
