Based on the test results,the characteristics of crack and load-deflection relation of hybrid reinforced concrete beam are studied and a method is suggested for calculating the crack width and deflection of the hybrid reinforced concrete beam.

In the light of the phenomenon that the asymmetric loading deflection of long span suspension bridge is great and the maximum live load does not take place at the midspan of the bridge,the differences of envelope diagrams of the live load deflection due to installation of central cable band are compared.
