Constructing a kind of new error function and building a nonlinear function between the step-size factor and the error function,a novel modified step-size blind equalization algorithm(MS-MCMA) was proposed based on modified constant modulus algorithm(MCMA) to resolve the contradiction between MCMA\'s convergence speed and steady-state error.
