Taking Changlingguan tunnel as an example,the author presents some geology prediction methods that are suitable for the tunnel and are widely used on Hefei～Wuhan passenger-dedicated railway in terms of working principle,applicability,advantages/disadvantages and application results,which can provide reference for the geology prediction of long tunnels and underground works in the future.
