【化学成分】
花生的地上部分含有多种挥发性成分，已确证的有：戊烯醇-3、已醇、芳樟醇、α-松油醇、牻牛儿醇。
【功用主治】
①《滇南本草》："治跌打损伤，敷伤处。" ②《滇南本草图说》："治疮毒。"
【临床应用】
①治疗失眠 取鲜花生叶40克(干叶30克)，制成200毫升煎剂，早晚两次分服。一般用药4～7剂后，睡眠情况即有不同程度的改善。 ②治疗高血压 取干花生叶按常规制成浸膏片，日服3次，每次3片。试用于40多例，在3～7天内能使血压从160～170/110～100毫米汞柱降至正常范围，自觉症状亦有所好转，无副作用。但血压超过200/110毫米汞柱者则不易见效。
