山东淄博人。中共党员。1963年毕业于山东曲阜师范学院中文系。历任淄博日报社编辑，淄博市博山区新闻干事，淄博市文化局创作室专业作家，《淄流》杂志编辑、副主编、主编，淄博市文联副主席，文学创作二级。山东省作家协会第三、四届理事，山东大众文学学会副会长。1958年开始发表作品。1991年加入中国作家协会。著有小说《落户第一课》，短篇集《蒲松龄轶事》、《聊斋轶闻录》，诗集《五彩云》、《溢彩的生活》等。
