指导语(instruetion)在心理实验开始之前，主试向被试说明实验、交代任务时所说的话。心理实验证明，实验指导语不同，其结果就会不同。因此指导语也是一种控制被试变量的手段。在给出指导语时应注意的事项如下:(l)主试事先要严格确定给被试什么样的指导语，不要临时确定、随时更改。(2)在指导语中要把被试应该知道的事一次交待完全。(3)要保证被试确实懂得指导语，因此指导语要简单明了，切忌模棱两可，也不要用专门术语。(4)指导语应标准化，即应做到所给的指导语前后一致、对所有的被试都相同。最好使用录音机给出指导语。 (金志成撰林仲肾审)
