Through literary carding and field work on the people’s Buddhist faith in the Yanyun region during the Liao Dynasty, the thesis mainly studies the non-governmental organization—Civilian association on Buddhism’s internal structure and its relationship with the local people’s life.
绪论部分,包括重要概念的界定、研究现状及选题缘起、资料来源及研究方法三个方面的内容;主体包括四个部分:第一部分,对燕云地区邑社组织形成的历史条件、人文环境及佛教信仰的繁荣做一简单的介绍,认为在辽代,燕云地区的佛教信仰之所以如此兴盛,与其深厚的历史积淀和当时的社会现实有关;第二部分,对燕云地区邑社组织的内部结构及活动内容进行具体分析,以期在历史描述的基础上对当地民众的佛教信仰有更为具体的了解;第三部分,讨论燕云地区邑社组织与民众日常生活的关系,说明这种自发形成的民间信仰组织对民众的物质生产、物质生活及妇女的家庭生活都有重要的影响;第四部分,在分析上述问题的基础上,总结了辽代燕云地区邑社组织的民俗特征和社会功能,认为这种自发的、公开的、小型的民间信仰组织在个体的心理调节和群体的社会规范方面都发挥了重要的作用。
