eaodi zhongdengJ一aoyu草地中等教育(the secondal)school education of gr日55-land)培养草地科学中级科技人才的活动。中国草地中等教育工作是在中等畜牧兽医教育事业基础上发展起来的。1948年全国设置有畜牧科的省立农业职业学校有24所。西北农学院附设高级农业职业学校，王栋、卢得仁开设了牧草学方面的课程。1956年农业部发出《关于组织所属学校编写中等农业学校教科书的通知》，当年安排的计划中有《田间作业及草地管理学》编写工作。1979年9月农林部正式颁布畜牧等3个专业的教学计划，指出各地可根据本地区需要，加设草原等课程。1993年全国在录的365所中等农业专业学校中，有畜牧兽医专业的学校为141所。根据需要，部分有条件的学校开设了草地学或饲料生产学课程。全国共有10所学校设立草原或草原与饲料专业。它们分别为内蒙古扎兰特农牧学校、内蒙古锡林浩特牧业学校、新疆伊犁畜牧兽医学校、新疆阿勒泰畜牧兽医学校、青海涅源牧校、甘肃甘南藏族自治州畜牧兽医学校、四川阿坝藏族羌族自治州畜牧兽医学校、黑龙江省畜牧兽医学校、黑龙江农垦林业大学、云南省畜牧兽医学校。草地中等教育学科与专业的发展，在中国草地专业人才培养、推动草地建设方面具有重要的作用。(胡耀高)
