二叔丁基过氧化物又称过氧化二叔丁基、引发剂A、硫化剂DTBP,结构式(CH3)3C-O-O-C(CH3)3，分子量146．22。无色至微黄色透明液体，相对密度(20 ℃／4℃)0.7940，凝固点一40 ℃，沸点111℃。闪点(开口)18℃，折射率1．3890，t1/2＝1.6h(140 ℃)、4．9h(130℃)、8．7h(125℃)．分解温度(0．2M苯)126℃。溶于丙酮、甲苯等有机溶剂，不溶于水。室温下稳定，对撞击不敏感。对钢和铝无腐蚀作用。无明显毒性，LD50＞25000mg／kg。
