对"恩五叶蜜"干叶采用苷元提取法提取得粗苷元后,再于丙酮中重结晶得苷元,层析分离得单体苷元,质谱仪检测,得到3,7,12-羟基-24-乙酰基皂苷元分子量435D,最大可能分子式C26H43O5,在17号位结合的辛烷烃上有酯基团;7,8-羰基-11-羟基-3-乙酰基苷元分子量501D,最大可能分子式为C32H53O4,在3号位上结合酯基团,二者苷元与绞股蓝原变种苷元母核相同,是典型人参皂苷元,前二者在17号位或15号位上结合辛烷烃,后者在17号位上都结合辛烯烃,可能揭示其不苦的原因。
