Based on the principle of Moiré Deflection Technology (MDT) and the definition of lenses’ power,relationship between moiré fringes’ tilting angle and the tested lens’s power is deduced respectively according to the combination of Talbot effect and principle of grating shadow and Fresnel-Kirchhoff theory.

In this paper,discussion is held on the diffraction propogation of orthogonal phase grat-ing with d_x≠d_y,illuminated by plane wave,It is found that when the relative phase distribution is much smaller than one radian,the complex amplitude distribution of orthogonal phasegrating has Talbot effect,too.
